I know some of us are, from time to time.

This automation software is the shitbomb. It runs on BeOS, and tends to
outperform $5000+ PC software. It's about $150, I think.

Insert promos, commercials, bumpers, scheduled or randomly. Tell it to play
smooth jazz tracks from 8-9am, death metal from 9am-midnight, then cut to a
webcast of hip-hoppers U2, back to the smooth jazz you know you love, all
automagically.

It's probably a lot better than I'm describing it. BeOS allows unlimited
file attributes, which means you can tag your MP3s' genre, time period,
mood, tempo, etc. (anything you want), and then tell Tunetracker 'Play slow
angry music from the 40s'.

(I'm just telling you as a friend. Unless we're not friends. Then you can
fuck off, I guess.)

That's a pretty cool program. My sister is in the Radio Industry and
she tells me all of the behind the scene processes that go on at a a
radio station. For example, All the people you hear at the radio
station in between songs just pre-record their interludes in like 2
hours and already have the playlist down like a day in advance. So
the DJ is not actually in the studio when you hear them on the radio.
Peace!
